October 5th, 2009

October is here. My favorite month of the year. It is filled with pretty colors and perfect weather. I love October..... dread what comes next but love October. Today is the typical Sunday morning. Dylan and Mason are at Sunday school and William is napping. I should be cleaning but I am sitting here. William turned 10 months old a few days ago. Looking back I can not even imagine where the last year has gone. Mason has turned 3 1/2 and Dylan will turn 9 1/2. I wish some days that I could slow down the clock. However that is not possible so I just need to learn to keep up and try not to miss a thing. I think we may try to go to the pumpkin place today and get the boys a pumpkin. I would like to find one large enough to take Will's picture inside of since this is the only year that it would work. So cute.
Dylan has practice at 4 and Josh has a football game at 1pm. So we will see how my plans work into their day. They usually do not.... =-) It is a cold damp dreary day and I kind of wish Soccer would be canceled. I know it will not though because it was canceled yesterday. So we will just make the best of it and smile.....=-)

Fall is officially here...

Fall hit us head on with a bad cold virus. Josh has been sick for 2 weeks. Mason has started a runny nose this week. Dylan has started a bad cough. Baby Will has started a runny nose and an ear infection which has kept him uncomfortable most of the week. Poor kid. Just when I think he may be getting better his nose starts pouring again. I hate seeing the kids sick. It scares me especially with everything that is going around lately. None of them have had their flu shots yet, due to odd policy at our doctors office. I am getting really tired of the flu shot policy every year at that office. Besides that I love that office.......

You can tell by looking around the house that the kids have been sick and that the house has been crazy. There is enough house work and laundry here to keep me going non stop for a week. I guess I should get to it...

Falls Days

Fall in Maine is really a great time of year.... The weather is perfect and the leaves start to change. Pretty soon the ground will be covered with bright colored leaves and the kids will have a ball in them........

Things have been good here. As busy as ever. Dylan is playing soccer three times a week and it is really busy in our house during the week. Sometimes I realize that Josh and I have not had a real conversation that did not consist of diapers and baths in days........

Life is filled with diapers, groceries, running from soccer, to doctor appointments. Some days between kids and chores I do not stop... however I would not change our life for anything. There is so much to do all the time that sometimes my head spins, but there is also so much love in this house that my heart is always full.

Well sorry to go all sentimental on you....
but looking around this morning at my three boys in their pajamas getting ready to start another day .. I have never been so thankful...

Tuesday September 8th 2009

Well the long weekend is over. Not quite the weekend we had in mind but it was okay. Josh and I are still sick with this cold, but he is better and back to work after taking Thursday and Friday off. Poor guy. Not exactly the weekend he had planned.

Mason is informing me that I am boring and that he would like to go do something today...when asked what he just stated? How am I suppose to know? LOL

Will is sitting in his highchair trying to fight off being tired, from his lack of sleep last night. He must be teething he woke up fussing every hour or so. Poor guy. Poor mom.

Mason and I are about getting ready to do a morning project.. It should be interesting today....

I am going to try to upload some new pictures from the playground of the boys.

Labor Day weekend...

So usually during LD weekend we do something fun.. Not this year. Josh and I are both sick with terrible colds. The kids do not have it yet but I guessing it is just a matter of time unfortunately.....
We have been right in each others faces as hard as we have tried not to. Yuck...

The baby is sitting in his highchair right now eating gerber puffs. It is showing me just how fast time has gone by. 9 months ago he had not even come home from the hospital yet and now here he is.

Something about him being my last baby is just breaking my heart. I know we really do not want any more and can not have any more, but something about it is really hard on me lately. Maybe it is because we can not and I no longer feel we have a choice. Not that I think I could handle 4 kids anyway. LOL I get by with three okay, but no way could I 4. I congratulate those of you who can.......

Well I think he wants more than just puffs right now. Off to get him breakfast..

August 31, 2009

Wow Summer is offically coming to an end here. I can already feel the fall weather setting in. I really do love fall though. The only thing I do not like about fall is that Winter is right around the corner and here that means SNOW SNOW SNOW. I am not fan. Winters seem to drag by around here. I feel trapped in the house....

Things are going good. I got Will's room finally cleaned out and ready for his crib to be moved in. Yes he is still in our room. LOL I Love having him in there and like to know he is close by, however When it is officially fall I think it is time to move him down to his own room. He is waking up a lot at night right now leaving me to wonder if it is us waking him with our shuffling.

well Dylan is home from school. Off to help with homework...

Yikes... August 29th....

Well I am officialy a BLOG liar. I promised to write more and once again the business of life took over.

Dylan is not officially a 4th grader as of last week. He thinks it is great and loves his teacher. She is the best teacher in the whole school according to him. I think he has said this every year. He is playing soccer and seems to love it....

The baby will be 9 months old tomorrow and is getting around the house just fine with his fancy army crawl and getting into anything he can get his hands on ..

Mason is being Mason, I have chosen to call him "Spirited" instead of naughty. LOL

Well we are off to a family function. So I need to go make some brownies. I plan on BBL to update pictures, but we all know how that goes with me...=-)
