Mason quote of the day for 9-30-2010

"William.. apparently mom did not realize that ONE brother was enough"

BROTHERLY LOVE....

The other day we were eating supper with the boys. Two of which had not been listening very well to Josh and I the whole day.....
So Josh went into the bedroom to do something and knocked over a lamp. The bulb shattered all over the room. Josh came out told the boys to stay put and asked me to come help him clean the giant mess. We were not in the bedroom for more than a minute when the door flung open and Mason came into tell that Dylan was starring at him. Josh reminded him that we told him to stay out right now and that he needed to listen. Josh then told him that due to the fact that no one was listening today that the next person who came through that bedroom door while we were trying to clean that mess was heading straight to bed because we were tired of the not listening. Not even a moment later Dylan came bursting in the bedroom and stated..
MASON SAID YOU WANTED ME......................hahahaha CLASSIC MASON =-)

Dog food and cats....who have died???

So today was Mason's very first ever show N tell at preschool. He was so excited for it. He told me he had to bring something that reminded him of his pets. So easy enough I thought. I pulled out the photo album and got a picture of Mason with the dog. was that good enough for the little man. NOPE of course not. Why? Because he is Mason and had his own ideas... so off he ran and came upstairs this morning holding two big fists full of DOG FOOD. Why? Well why not this is what reminds him of his dogs... fair enough. I put it in a baggie and packed it.

Then he decided he wanted to talk about his cat too.... so I thought well we have a 2 year old cat and Mason could share a picture of that cat. NOPE he insisted on bringing in pictures of our cat who had died last year..... LOVELY. I asked him why he chose that picture and not the cat that is alive. Well Easy he said. " I bet the kids have never seen a dead cat" I told him but the cat was alive when we took that picture. Still he said. " this is a dead cat and I love him" ALRIGHTY THEN off to school he went. My apologies to his teacher who know gets to explain that one to the class................
