Well today was Dylan's birthday. We went to the movies and then birthday shopping. He had already gotten his lap top from us. He seemed to have a great birthday. I can not believe that he is already 9 years old. I am not sure where the years have gone with him, but he is half away to 18!!! The thought of that makes me want to cry. He is turning into a young man.

I think I need to go cry myself to sleep now. Thinking of the 5 pounds baby I cuddled in my hospital bed 9 years ago...

April Vacation is here....

The boys have been going strong since Monday morning. They have had there moments of not being nice to one another but over all they are being pretty good. We did the Jokers thing yesterday which was fun. It is amazing that Mason is now old enough to just go into the fun house area thing (with Dylan) and just run and play. It is really amazing how fast they grow and change. Dylan only tried to ditch him in there one time. Some 7 year old girl told Dylan that Mason was cute so Dylan asked her if she wanted to watch him then. Nice huh?? Ditch your little brother to a stranger... I can see them going in and exiting. That is what is nice about it....

Well it is rained a lot this week and I hoping for some sun real soon. They say it is coming by Friday. We are going to the Animal farm Friday and the circus Saturday. So overall I would say they had a good April Vacation.......

Sick boy

Poor Mason is currently battling his first ear infection in almost 2 years. He is so sad about it too. He walks around with his finger in his ear and keeps saying. It hurts when I do this. LOL of course I told him not to keep doing that then, but when your three your minds seems to work in only one way. The way you want it too.

He did however inform me last night that chap stick made his ear feel better. I looked over to find a chap stick in his had .. I said oh goodness.. you did not put that in your ear did you. He looked at me for a few seconds and then said. " Now why in the world would I do that" He then turned around and walked away. Gotta love him!!!!

Attention Oldest Child

Attention Children:

The Bathroom Door is Closed!

Please do not stand here and talk, whine, or ask questions. Wait until I get out.

Yes, it is locked. I want it that way. It is not broken. I am not trapped.

I know I have left it unlocked, and even open at times since you were born, because I was afraid some horrible tragedy might occur while I was in there, but it's been 9 years and I want some PRIVACY.

Do not ask me how long I will be. I will come out when I am done.

Do not bring the phone to the bathroom door.

Do not go running back to the phone yelling: "She's in the BATHROOM!"

Do not begin to fight as soon as I go in.

Do not stick your little fingers under the door and wiggle them. This was only funny when you were two.

Do not slide pennies, Legos, or notes under the door. Even when you were
two, this got a little tiresome.

If you have followed me down the hall talking, and are still talking as you face this closed door, please turn around, walk away and wait for me in another room. I will be glad to listen to you when I am done.

Oh ... And yes, I still love you.

Saturday

Well I realized I have slacked off on writing in here for almost a week now. It was a pretty boring week around here. A few doctors appointments.
Will is now nearly 14 pounds. I can not believe it was just a few months ago I brought my little baby home at less then 6 pounds. TIme sure does fly by.

Tomorrow is Easter. Gotta love the Easter bunny....=-) Gotta love the candy. =-) I am hoping to avoid the candy part of it as far as myself is concerned. We are going to my moms for dinner then who knows where from there. I have still not gotten the boys clothes ready for tomorrow yet. LOL I should add that to my to do list. The list keeps on getting longer today.

Well this has been my most boring blog yet... I apologise for that. Dylan is asking for a snack. Will is fussing and the dog is barking non stop... I guess I should go take care of things!!! =-)

Hopefully I will have some good things to write after Easter!!

4 months old

Baby Will is already 4 months old. It is so sad to think that all these baby moments are my last baby moments. Before long we will be moving on to new stages in our life

I can not believe that he is 4 months old. It seems like yesterday that I was starring at him in Portland praying with everything I had that he would make it through this and come out healthy and strong. Here is is. Only 4 months old and he steals my heart every day. He is a very happy baby. He spends lots of time just sitting watching his brothers and laughing at him. He is truly a joy to have in my life.

He still loves mommy best and wants to sleep right with me at night. =-) I do not have a problem with it. This too shall pass and before long he will be more interested in his friends and his social life then he is me.

Get these germs out of the house......ahhh

I am so ready for the germs to be out of this house. I thought Will was over his cold and considered myself lucky that he just got a mild version. Well last night he started in coughing a bit and sounds a tad congested. I am keeping a very close eye on him now and am so glad he has his 4 month appointment on Friday.

Mason can not seem to kick the cough and runny nose. I have been using his nebulizer and he still is coughing quite ab it..... Poor guy..

Dylan awoke miserable this morning and wanting to stay home. He too has started in with the cough. He wanted to say home today. Something he rarely wants to do. I sent him though. I am afraid he may be worse before better and need that day of rest later in the week.

For now Josh and I are healthy I am sure it is just a matter of time before we also have this cold. I am so ready for warm weather.......
