OUT OF ORDER

That is the sign I have been wanting to hang on my blog now for over a month....=-( We are just getting out computer and internet back this week, yet so far NO such luck on retrieving the pictures of the crashed hard drive. As you can tell by my blog. I LOVE my picture. Apparently backing them up never crossed my mind....=-( I currently lost 2,000 pictures. I am so hoping they can be retrieved and not for an outrageous amount. so far NO luck..........

When life is as simple as a bubble...

I love the fact that my boys life's are still very simple. We had a long day Thursday and I kept glancing at the clock a little too eager for nap time. I had a busy weekend a head of me and a house that needed cleaning. I had 3 dozen cookies to bake for an upcoming birthday party that would consist of 10 boys from the ages of 9-12 for Dylan's birthday party. I had laundry to fold and dishes in the sink. Mason was at preschool and Dylan was at school. It was just William and I. I had decided that this would be the time in which I would put a big dent in the work a head of me. I knew the evenings were not going to be a good time because the next two nights were going to be full of baseball practices and baseball games, and procrastination. It was just Will and I home and I got him out a few toys, turned on the tv. and dove head first into my many chores. He tugged on my leg and said. Mommy outside. I glanced outside and as inviting as that sunshine looked I told him not right now. He pouted a bit and walked away. I went back to work. A few minutes later he was back again asking to go outside. I told him it was early and still very chilly and perhaps later. This time he did not give up. He walked into Mason's room and came back with a container of bubbles. He said mommy outside bubbles. He looked so happy that just when I was about to explain to a two year old that mommy had too much work ahead of her and was WAY over her head with the upcoming birthday party plans when it hit me. To him life was simple right now and all that was on his mind was a container of bubbles and the outside. I picked him up. Kissed him on the forehead and thanked him for reminding mommy to enjoy the day, the sun, and most of all, my time alone with him. And outside we went.

"my popsicle gotted me"

William had great time today eating his popsicle. He was as happy as could be until it started to melt. He was getting so mad at something. He kept saying. " no no no stop" I looked over at him. He was ALONE eating his popsicle . I turned back to what I was doing when once again he started again. This time sounded MUCH more upset. " NO NO NO " he wailed. " STO STOP STOP" he yelled. Finally I went over to him trying to figure out what was going on. I thought perhaps it was an imaginary friend gone bad. Nope. I said. Will what is wrong. That is when I he looked up at me and said " my popsicle gotted me" I ran grabbed my camera while laughing and made him smile for me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYLAN

Dylan turned 11 years old today. WOW. The last 11 of year have flown by. It seems it was just yesterday I was a young girl finding out I was pregnant. I thought my life was over. Little did I know my life was just about to be born. Dylan and I learned together over the years. From the moment he was born I knew that even if I could not give him everything I could give enough love to get us through any situation or obstacle that was thrown at us. I can barely remember the disappointment in my dads eyes when he found out I was pregnant because the memory of the pride in his eyes when he held his first grandson has replaced that. . I spent 9 months wondering how I was ever going to be a good mother at only 19. I spent 9 seconds after I first laid eyes on him knowing exactly how I was going to do that. He was the most amazing precious thing I had ever seen. I instantly felt over joyed with love, hopes and dreams for this amazing baby that was just handed to me. Nothing else mattered I knew I would do whatever I needed to do to make sure this baby was happy and healthy. Looking back I would not change a thing . I was given the very best blessing anyone could ever ask for with out even asking. I remember leaving you at daycare for the very first time ever. Denise assured me you would be fine and I cried all the way to work wondering how you were ever going to make it through the day with out me. I shortly learned that you made it through your day just fine. It was me who had a hard time making it through my day with out you.
I remember Dad and I taking you to the bus stop on your first day of school. You were so confident with your little LL Bean back pack and Spider man lunch box. You stepped on that big bus and never looked back . Dad and I stood there until the bus faded away down the hill and walked back home hand and hand with tears in our eyes. You have never stopped amazing me since the day you were born. Your confidence and charm will get you very far in life. As you turn 11, you suddenly think you do not need me as as much..Good thing I know this is not true. . I want you to know that I am honored to have shared your first words, steps and all journeys with you over the past 11 years. I was amazed the day you were born and you have continued to amaze me every day since. I love you ........... Lets take the next 11 years a little bit slower then the last though please......... I will continue to be here for you every day even the days you do not want me here. Those will be the days you will need me most.

I will love you forever................I will like you for always. As long as I am living... My baby you will be..

April Vacation

Every year April vacation gets me so excited for Summer with the boys. This Summer is going to be the first Summer in 6 years that I have not been pregnant or had a baby. Will is going to be 2.5 this Summer. He will be the youngest but CLEARLY has no trouble keeping up. Dylan will be 11 this summer so I am wondering how helpful he will be with his brothers. I probably should not hold my breath for that. =-) This Summer with Mason is what hits me hardest when all the sunshine is gone and the fall returns. I will be sending Mason to FULL day Kindergarten. That thought breaks my heart. Full day is the only option we have. So I am going to try not to think about that over the next 4 months and just enjoy my boys. I love being a Sahm the most during the summer time. Winters in Maine can be brutal. We def. earn our Summers.......

and then it was Spring. KIND OF...

Well Spring is officially here in a few different ways. Def. according to the calender but not so much looking out my back door. =-) If I look our front I see a few small piles of snow and lots of mud but def. signs of spring. If I turn around and look out onto the backyard. I see about a foot of snow and a partial swing set. No idea why my snow melts so funny. I can sit here and complain or just be glad I can enjoy two seasons at once. =-)

Have not posted in forever Way too much going on. NO excuse though. I am back and intend to post more very soon.
