So the baby fell and got his first "real" boo boo last night above his eye. It was was heart breaking to see. However I was quick to point out to Josh that he was with in arms reach of him and I was all the way across the room. This made Josh quickly point out to me that ........I was home all day long and he probably does not know half of what goes on here during the day including minor accidents the kids may have and such.
Well laying in bed last night I had to laugh to myself and also wonder if there was any truth to that statement..... and although I denied it as soon as he said it I could not help but reflect upon the last few months in this house. Being a SAHM is not always all it is cracked up to be... but it often cracks me up. And NO I do not always let Josh know the crazy happening of this house hold while he is at work. Especially if I come out looking bad. LOL
In 2010 alone... let's see.
I told Mason that he was a big boy and no longer needed the toddler seat on the toilet when pooping. Well he reluctantly agreed and went into the bathroom to take his first attempt at pooping on the potty with no seat....... DISASTER
He ends up screaming for me. So I tell him to hold on a minute of course I am assuming he wants me to wipe his butt as usual... So he kept screaming finally about 2 minutes later I finished up changing William and went in to do one of my many job titles. "the butt wiper" and there it was MASON stuck in the toilet . His little bum was probably sitting in the toilet water... or just about. OH no. I run. .pull him out he is pretty mad at me by this time for not coming quicker. And there you have it. A huge red ring around his bum from being stuck. It faded quickly and so did his anger at me for the moment of OOPS but man... Daddy did not find that one out that night......
Of course then there is William.. Cute little William .. mommy thought it would be a great idea to set him in the laundry basket for a picture. Now why on earth did not think..oh gosh he will stand up and flip that over is beyond me. I watched him as he began to stand and YUP I was holding my camera watching him ..then it happened he flipped right out of the laundry basket and on to the floor. He cried. I cried... He was fine. I still cried... man.. I guess we forgot to tell Daddy that one too....=-)
Well I am off for a bit..
The true stories of life as a stay at home mom.... Welcome to our crazy beautiful life. We def. do not have it all together but together we have it all. A small glimpse of my life as a stay at home mom. The good, the bad, the silly and sometimes sad life.

March 1st, 2010 I think it is time for a change.......
Now what kind of a change one may ask?? Honestly? I am yet to figure that out...
It is time for a change. I feel like we have been in a funk around here since Christmas. Mostly me I do admit. I have had little energy and have been hating Winter in Maine, Hating not getting out of the house and hating the extra weight that Santa gave me for the holidays. I looked around today at my three boys and thought wow.. I am a very lucky person. I thought this even though they all have colds and I had little sleep last night. I thought of the people out there who have really sick kids, have lost a child , or can not have any of their own to begin with. I started feeling really badly about the funk I have been in lately and realized just that. IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE.
Time to get out more. Do more things that I use to do.
Sometimes staying at home can lead to funks. I no longer want to do this. It is March 1st. Mason will be 4 in two weeks. William is now 15 months old. Although not really sure when since Feb. had no 30th?? LOL
Dylan will be 10 next month. I want to look back on the years and be sad that it went so fast but also know where it went. Not that we have not had a great last few years. I just want better. More memories and more fun.....
That is my goal for March...
More fun. More energy. More silly dances around the living room..........

February 9th 2010
Wow. We are almost to mid Feb. and that just shocks me for some reason...
This has been a busy and sad week for us. I took our beloved kitty to the vet and he had to be put to sleep. It was awful and heart wrenching.
He had kidney failure and there was really nothing they could do and no options. He would face a life of procedures and pain and no hope really. I could not bare to have him continue to suffer like that.
I made the choice to hold him in my arms as the vet gave him the medicine to put him to sleep. His last time ever going to sleep. He looked at me as she gave him the medicine and I remember feeling helpless and awful. Telling him it would be okay and that I loved him.
Some may ask why would you choice to be in the room with the cat while they did that. Some would say it is just a cat. Well in this house they may be trouble makers but our pets are part of the family and what kind of mother would I bet to make him face that alone. It was heart. Worst than I ever thought it would be and sometimes when I close my eyes I still see his helpless pleading little eyes looking up at me. He had no idea what was to come.
I have to make peace with the fact that I made the best choice possible for him. I still find that hard to swallow....
Well this turned into a sad blog update. Maybe I will come back later and update more...........

January 24th 2010
January has been a cold busy month here... I feel like the days pass so quickly and before I know it a new month is ready to begin.
Every one is doing well. Despite the 5 day long battle with the stomach flu that we battled last week...=-)
The kids are good. Cute and busy as ever.
William has decided he like to walk places and when he does not feel like he is getting there quite fast enough he drops and speed crawls like no other. LOL
He is going to be 14 months old in 4 days. I can not believe he is that already. My very last baby and it has gone by in the blink of an eye.
At times I miss the fact that we will no longer have any babies in the house, but then I look at the kids getting older and am glad to be able to do fun things with them that I am restricted on doing with a baby around.
William is determined that my bed is the place he belongs at night although Daddy does not agree with him.
Cry it out is the only advice I get and I have to admit I am not a big fan right now. He is my last baby.....
Dylan is going to be 10 in April and we just booked his Birthday part at the Y this year. He wanted to have a pool party and that is what he is going to get. He is soooo excited..
Mason is going to be 4 in less than two months. That is what really surprises me. He is as tiny as ever, but has the biggest spirit and biggest attitude ..LOL
Well I took Yesterday off from house work to attend an out of Town Baby shower for the my niece. I must go now and catch up from all the work that was missed yesterday...
and the house sure does show that I was not home. LOL

Chistmas has come and gone...
Wow it seems like I spent forever wrapping and getting ready for Christmas and in an instant it was over.....=-( The boys had a great time and got so many gifts from out extended family. They got way way too much. I have been opening and putting away toys and clothes for 2 days now and have many many more to go. We had to load the back of Josh's SUV twice to get it all home. That does not even count what Santa got them. I hope they are very grateful to have a Christmas like this......
So now we are moving towards 2010. I am hoping to have a wonderful year. Last year was quite busy with a newborn. I am hoping this year slows down a little bit and gives us more time to enjoy the boys. They truly are wonderful people. We are blessed daily to have them in our lives.........
Well the baby is trying to eat Mason's toy..... So I am off to get him....=-)
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday....

December 19th
Well Christmas is in 6 days and the cold cold weather is officially upon us here.
Burrrrrrrrrr
I am so cold.
So I am no where near ready for Christmas . I do not have a thing wrapped. Not even for the party that we are going to tonight. The baby has been sick. He has double ear infections. A temp of 103.7 and then an allergic reaction to penicillian. So to say the least it has been a cray 2 weeks. I have not even finished shopping and am not even sure what I have and what I need. I think I need to spend the day doing that today. Figuring it all out.........

He turned one....=-(
I tried to keep it from happening.. actually tried not thinking about it and thought maybe it would not happen. I was wrong and it did . On Nov. 30th 2009.... My baby MY LAST baby turned one..... What a big boy. He is trying to walk every where. Luckily he is still using toys and such. Not walking on his own just yet. Where did that last year go? Man..... It brings me to tears.
He had a huge birthday party on Saturday He had a total of 56 people there. It was so fun and he got many many nice things......
Well the big boy is fussing in his pack N play as I type because he does not like being contained any more. I will write more later....
Pictures to come soon.
